Waffle Day at THS

Mrs. Johnson’s, Mrs. Rosier’s and Mrs. Brantley’s classes in the Career Technical Instruction Program at THS created a student run restaurant in conjunction with National Waffle Day. Students practiced job skills through role playing different restaurant jobs (hostess, waiter, cashier, cook, custodian) in preparation for their work site experiences in the community later in the school year. Students cooked a variety of waffle creations, served, and checked out peers and teachers in their restaurant “The Waffle Lab.”
